Our school is huge (over 4000 students) so it is hard to be a president or even a vice president of clubs especially since i’m only a sophomore, i have no chance for now.
So i have been organizing individual community service projects in which i will be collecting items or fundraising to help out places like Africa and etc.
I was wondering how much these individual projects can help me go to colleges. My top school is princeton (which i know is like impossible to get into for me). Soo anyone knows?
You shouldn’t do it to impress colleges. Unless you genuinely care and it shows if you do, schools like Princeton will see right through it.
I agree with jollybolly, and here’s some advice I was taught a long time ago.
If you can’t beat them, join them. If you can’t join them, beat them. If you can’t do either, start your own club.
