How does it look for me?

Hi. I’m an upcoming senior that’s a part of a Highly Gifted Program in my school. I’ve had 8 APs so far (not including the one I took in the 8th grade) and have passed all but one (World History). My counselor said that I had a 3.5 unweighted GPA when I visited her at the beginning of my second semester of junior year. I just got my grades for my second semester and I got straight A’s. So I guess the upward trend is good? (Starting sophomore year, everything starting falling. First semester: 4 B’s, 2 A’s. Second semester: 2 C’s, 1 B, 3 A’s. (I had AP World History freshman year. I had AP Physics C, AP Calculus AB, AP European History sophomore year). And I got 4 B’s, 2 A’s for the first semester of junior year (AP English Language, AP USH, AP Psychology, AP Calculus BC))
(For extracurriculars, I volunteer every Saturday, I’m a part of three clubs and President of one of them. I play the viola and the piano. I can speak Korean, Spanish, and I’m learning ASL)
For right now, I’m not too sure where I stand as an applicant. I also have no idea where I’d like to apply. So could someone please give me input on how it looks for me? (I was looking at Boston College but I’d like too know my chances)
Any feedback would be much appreciated!

ACT/SAT scores?

Looks like you’re overextending yourself.

@TalkTheTalk
ACT:34
SAT:2060

Hmmn, that is interesting as a 34 (very solid score–kudos) usually tracks with something closer to a 2200+ in the SAT…

@boolaHI
On practice tests I had gotten 2200s-2300s but I took the SAT at a bad time in the middle of the school year with a huge gap between when I practiced and when I actually took the test

You obviously have the option of just utilizing the ACT score…

I know. I was just going to use the ACT scores

How is it looking now?
