How does NYU deal with transfers?

<p>As in how many transfer students do they accept a year?</p>

<p>I’m a Junior and very interested in NYU (possibly Fordham), but my GPA probably won’t reach up to a 3.8 by October (if I apply early). Unless I can take extra classes, but I still have to talk to my counselor about that.</p>

<p>I’m planning on going to an instate school, and transfer the next semester or year. Help…</p>

<p>They take lots of transfers because many leave because of the cost, so make sure you can afford 2 years there which is the minimum you can spend to get a degree.</p>
