How does one get ahead while staying in advanced classes?

I know that you can graduate early by taking a few classes required for graduation over the summer, but the classes over the summer cannot be taken as AP, they are considered regulars. I believe the requirement to graduate early is World History over the summer, English 4 over the summer, and Government and Economics over the summer. You also give up senior year AP classes that are not required for graduation like AP Calculus (I think that’s the only one you really give up, though I could be wrong.)

Anyways, how do you get ahead in your courses while still taking advanced classes? In case it means something, we have a dual-enrollment program here but I don’t know a thing about it.

You don’t. If your goal is to graduate early, then you have to basically limit yourself to the graduation requirements. If your goal is to take advanced clases, then you can’t limit yourself to the graduation requirements. These two goals are not compatible.

Talk to your GC and specifically say you want to know if it’s possible to graduate early while taking at least some advanced courses. Also mention that you want information about the dual enrollment possibilities.

Depending on how your school sets up its schedules, it may be possible to take one more course instead of a study hall that is usually scheduled for the convenience of a lab that meets only once every 5 or 6 days or an every-other-day course like gym often is. It may also be possible to squeeze in one more class each year by not taking lunch. If the high school would allow you to take a dual enrollment course in the evening at a local CC, that might also free up another slot in your schedule during the day.

Any particular reason you want to graduate early?

I just replied to your thread about NOT graduating early:
