It treats them well?

They treat everyone well, I think. :)

If your question is about Affirmative Action, Stanford says it doesn’t have a specific policy in place (such as quotas), but that they do value the diverse life experiences of URMs and low-income students, so it may be at least a tip.

How do you think they’ll be treated? This is a really vague question that needs to be put into context…

Indeed… not something that can be quantified.

they are considered to be only accepted because of their race. in essence, there is no smart urm. jk, im black.

I believe Stanford does let most URMs out of their cages occasionally, so quite well I suppose.

haha, Beef Supreme, nice response.

I was expecting either complete ignorance of my comment or a torrent of angry responses.

Are you referring to how they’re treated during the admissions process or once they’re admitted?

If it’s the latter, I think Beef Supreme pretty much has all the information you need a few responses up. If it’s the former, it’s certainly an advantage, but it’s by no means a golden ticket.

I was expecting either complete ignorance of my comment or a torrent of angry responses.

I thought you were going to be flamed like crazy for that comment haha.

I think Stanford treats URMs well…and I guess they have a bit of an advantage in the admission process. Unless they are high income.

If you want to know about once at Stanford, visit its website. It seems quite dedicated to incorporating URMs into the community as well as letting them stay in touch with their unique backgrounds…

How does Stanford treat URMs?

They treat them like gods in the admission process.

Bollocks, rjacob!

haha, jk, I really don’t know.I hate this site because you can’t type just one word…such as bollocks so now I have to type nonsense so this will be posted.
