Hey everyone,

So I know for Foothill’s TAP, so long as you do the 7 classes (with 2 of them being a seminar) that add up to 22.5 units and maintain a 3.3 overall GPA you get tap certified.

When calculating that 3.3, do you they only look at UC transferable courses or all of the courses you have taken while at a CC? I have one (math) class that wasn’t UC transferable but I got an A in it, so it would definitely boost my overall GPA if it counted for TAP.

Thanks if you can help!

Yours is 7 classes? West Valley’s is only 6…

Yup, 5 regular classes and then 2 classes are 1 unit seminars to get 22.5 units.

Oh man, I wish De Anza had a TAP program… I want to get into UCLA so badly!

Well, I know WVC has an agreement with Foothill so WVC students can take a TAP class there if all ours are ever full (I’m very lucky that at 5 am Friday I’ll be registered for my classes in about 2 seconds and have a very nice schedule…although it’s comparible to my schedule this semester)
