How does the ACT score report work?

<p>If I took my ACT WITH writing does that mean I’ll have to wait 5-8 weeks just for the multiple choice scores? Will I still be able to see my scores on sept 26th? Also, let’s say you get a bad MC score on english but then get a really good essay score after the essays are graded, would your score change?</p>

<p>You’ll get your multiple choice scores on the 26th. The essay grade will come later and no, the essay does not affect your composite score.</p>

<p>^ thank you. for some reason the charts in “the real act prep” book seem to suggest that the essay score does effect your english composite score.</p>

<p>^ It does, but you get a separate Combined English/Writing Score. Whatever score you get on that isn’t factored into the composite score however. The English MC score is the one that is factored into the composite score.</p>
