How does the admissions process work at UCLA

does anyone know what they do to pick their acceptances and rejects? i saw something about how Harvard decides who get in and was wondering how UCLA does it.

this is the best answer you will probably find since no one here works at the admissions office.

I actually did work at the admissions office all of last year but since they’re using a different system now I’m not sure how much has changed =/

cocoa, how did they work last year then? im curious

Admission is done with complex algorithms, computer models, and statistical analysis of all your essays against a huge database of award-winning papers.

Actually…no. They just have chimpanzees pick the applicants whose essays smell the most like bananas.

I’m kidding, in case you didn’t figure it out.
