I’m planning on EDing there but I’m a bit on the sideline due to my lack of understanding regarding financial aids. AFAIK when you apply for FA, you’ll get a grant and possibly a scholarship that has to be renewed every year. Now, the problem is that my family is rather tight on cash and I don’t even want to fathom what would happen if I had to pay the full sticker price. So guys, is there any guarantee that I’ll get the same grant for all 4 years? A requirement would be fine as long as it’s something solid and transparent.

What is your EFC? Is your household income >$150,000 +/- and is this why you are worried about having to pay the full sticker price? FWIW, my daughter’s grant went up each of her four years at Lafayette (Class of '12).
