<p>I have heard that once an applicant passes the academic screening (my SAT scores and GPA are on par), they move on to the next section of evaluation and the most important (extracurriculars, awards, essays).</p>
<p>If this is the case, than a super strong SAT like a 2350 for example would be only marginally beneficial at best over a score like 2250. Is this the case? To what extend would a 2300+ superscore help over a score of 2250? (This is aimed at the Ivies and top 10 colleges).</p>
