how does the resume sound?

I am a marketing student at a well known public university. While in school, I have completed three marketing internships at fairly medium to well-known companies with responsibilities including: writing and implementing a market plan, writing and publishing an online newsletter, coordinating pr events, conference planning, designing advertisements, PPC advertising, online marketing with social media, and market research. Along with these internships I have held 2 other jobs for a combined 3 years with a promotion in one, two leadership positions, including the title of president and an exclusive award for community leadership/service. I will have 3.0 or above upon graduation. I have two years combined marketing work experience along with 4 years of experience with management.

Does my resume seem competitive enough for large fortune 500 companies including: Boeing, amazon, Microsoft, etc.?

FYI: I know nothing about marketing.

With that said, you sound very competitive, minus the GPA, which could hurt you alot. Right or wrong, marketing is often considered an easy major, so a 3.0 may very well be way too low for those types of companies. But your experience also could give you a competitive edge; especially if recruiters can actually see the advertisments/newsletters and things you’ve created/designed. Other things to consider:

do those companies recruit at your school specifically for the type of positions your interested in?

Were your internships at well-known companies? and were you internships paid?

Well when I said 3.0 I mean thats worse case scenario. Right now it is a 3.4 and I am expecting to remain the same.

The companies I interned for are pretty well known in the region at the very least and 2 out of the 3 were paid. I did one of them for a year and a half, though.
