How does this look for top schools?

I’m currently a junior and under a ton of stress to narrow down a college list.
My high school is considered the best public school in the state. Avg SAT score is well above the national average and I’m not sure about ACT but probably around 30?
Currently I am taking:
US History(Not AP)
Intro to Analysis and calculus
French 3
Honors english
Biotechnology
Advanced drawing and painting 1
AP Chemistry
To get into advanced art I skipped two lanes with an interview with the teacher and portfolio. I have an A in all classes, got a B in chem last semester and currently have a B+ but we only have one exam in the grade book sooo… Will hopefully maintain a B+ or even an A- if the heavens decide to shine haha
Next year I’ll be taking:
Econ/Psychology
AP Calculus AB
AP French
Honors English
Advanced drawing and painting 2
AP Biology
I considered AP English but after reviewing the requirements and hearing others’ opinion I decided it would be a reach for me…I can write well but it takes me far too much time and I’m worried about other commitments.
Current ECs:
weekly volunteer at a children’s hospital for 2 hours, patient contact, one of best hospitals in the world
2x week yoga/other fitness
3hrs/week I go to a math tutor, been doing this since 7th grade
Every other week and sometimes more I have doctor’s appointments(not gonna go into it but yes it’s for health problems) for 2 hours.
I’m trying to become well known on instagram and i’m very into photography and fashion. doesn’t sound like a real hobby but it’s like a job to me. I have a food blog that’s gaining momentum nicely and a lifestyle photography page that’s slowly growing as well.
I danced pretty much my entire life until a year ago(aforementioned health problems)
In my free time I read, cook, art, etc. I’ve won the national french award two years in a row(this year’s results haven’t come in yet but FINGERS CROSSED!!), I’m bilingual(not including french), I have over 11 years of art experience.
Last summer I did the USC “Future Physicians” 4-week summer program and had an office job for 1 month. This summer I plan to pick up more shifts in the hospital and I want a job but no one will hire me :frowning: Also I really want to get back into filmmaking as that used to be my biggest hobby and I miss it dearly :’(
After college I want to go to medical school. I’ve been reading medical textbooks since age 4, ever since I taught myself the english language so clearly it’s kinda important to me to go into medicine…
I’m definitely looking at schools like Brown, UCLA, Yale, possibly Stanford?, etc due to my academic performance but I’m scared that I’m just not good enough or not interesting enough. I don’t know how to be more interesting or “well rounded” etc and I have literally 0 free time
EDIT: My ACT score is 35 composite

First and foremost, my condolences for your health issue. No one should have the rug swept out from under them like that. As for your résumé, it’s my humble opinion that you’re selling yourself short.

Before I explain my reasoning for the above assertion, I’d like to explain the way college admittance statistics work. When admissions officers gather an aggregate of admitted students into an institution, trends begin to emerge. For example, the percentage of students in the top ten percent or the percentage of students who were presidents of an extracurricular activity. These trends result from the individual outlook of each admissions officer. Replicating them on your application for the next year won’t guarantee an acceptance. Hence, the concept of replicating a well-rounded portfolio is a moot point. There are some objective reference points that you can use to help you determine which college is for you, but it is ultimately the opinion of an admissions officer that determines whether or not you’re going to be accepted into the Harvards and the Yales of the world. So, it is best to follow your passions within a manageable workload and place your concern in matters that are meaningful, like friends and family.

Nonetheless, I think that you have great test scores, stunningly well-balanced schedules, and an excellent chance of going to a top university smart enough to accept you. In other words, stay the course and relax. You’ll do well wherever you wind up. Good luck!

What? your could only READ medical textbooks at age 4? My kids were AUTHORING medical textbooks at age 4, in English, French, German, and in Latin.

If your health issues have prevented you from continuing extra curricular activities like dance, make sure you discuss this with your college counselor. Either you or your counselor (in his/her report on you) can address this issue in your application.

If you were my child and hoping to attend schools like Brown, Yale, Stanford, UCLA, and told me you didn’t have free time to get involved in your school or in ECs outside of school, I’d tell you to stop spending time trying to build a following on instagram. It is a time suck. Take your areas of interest like art, fashion, food, and get involved in or start clubs, volunteer work, etc. geared towards that, as suggested by several posters on your other thread.

It’s okay to have the reaches that you do. Everyone has reaches but be educated about the odds of getting accepted. (Scan through some of the acceptances threads on this website and you will see many applicants with your stats and some decent ECs getting rejected and waitlisted.) Your time and worry would be better spent developing a list of match/possible and safety/likely schools so you have a well developed and reasonable application list. Look for colleges that offer merit aid based on your other post concerning finances. None of the schools you listed provide merit aid.

No Chinese or Arabic? What slackers your kids are, GMT. Maybe they’ll be allowed to draw blood one day.
