<p>Lets say that I can get a 4.0 this semester. That would raise my overall GPA from a 3.1 to a 3.4. I join a few clubs, do some volenteer work over the next six months. I could finish off about 9 hours at my current college next fall and then apply for a less popular major at UIUC for January transfer. Lets say i can do all of that, how good would my chances be of getting in?</p>
<p>depends on whether or not the college is accepting transfers. very few have openings for mid-year transfers.</p>
