How does this USB lanyard work?

<p>I just recieved the engineering USB drive with a lanyard that doesn’t seem to want to attach anywhere onto the USB drive. Is this complete lulz or is it just me?</p>

<p>Nono, it’s a noose to hang yourself with after your first year of Cal.</p>

<p>There’s a little notch at the end of the silver thing, opposite of the circle on the silver thing that you can attach the lanyard to. (if that explanation made any sense whatsoever)</p>

<p>I see that, but the lanyard head seems to be useless, its a three pronged plastic thing with nothing to attach to, and the string itself is a fat string. </p>

<p>I must be missing a piece or something…</p>

<p>EDIT: nevermind, it looks like someone whoever packed this thing lost the front part of it. failure i checked my envelope and it wasnt in it.</p>
