hi, I’m a rising senior and need to get ready for college applications… but i haven’t taken any of those sat subject tests either act test… how does turning in scores late work.?
What do you mean, late? You have months until those are due. You send them directly from the testing company to colleges.
And some schools won’t take them late. Be on time. Read what scores are actually needed. The vast majority of schools don’t require subject tests. And you can take SAT or the ACT. You don’t need to do both.
My son is walking this tightrope also. He wants to apply early to several colleges but won’t be taking the ACT until September 10. I suspect he’ll get his score back within 2 weeks (hopefully). The problem is if he is unhappy with his score. Then he will need to take it again on October 22. NC State, Florida State, and Texas A&M have early app deadlines of October 15. I’m sure we can get it done, but it will be chaotic.
