I am an Indian currently living in the United Arab Emirates.

I wanted to know how Vanderbilt will view me as an Indian or UAE applicant while reviewing my application. This is because Cornell views me as a UAE applicant but USC views me as an Indian applicant.

Just a little curious and a little bored :D.

well, either way you have a distinct advantage, but i guess that is a question best directed to an admission rep.

UAE would be more under-represented, so hopefully that’s how they’ll view you.

Thanks for the reply.

Usually the applicant’s country can be seen in the online status page. But since Vanderbilt does not have an a status tracking system I could not find out which country’s applicant I come under.

Thanks for the replies.

I imagine they will see UAE under country and Indian under ethnicity, so they’re getting the full picture.
