So I applied and got an interview to the America Reads program, which it says the pay rate is $10/hr for tutoring grades K-3. My question is since this is a work study program, will I only get my hourly wages or is there some sort of educational grant they will give me in addition to my hourly wages. Thanks! :)

You will get your hourly wage until you have accumulated the total award you recieved. The work-study is not intended to pay for tuition, it’s to cover things you’d need money for around campus such as books, food, more blue bucks, etc.
