How easy is it to find a job?

<p>I’m debating joining marching band next year in college because I want to get a job, and I need the money. The time commitments for band would almost certainly be too much to get a job, at least during the fall, so I couldn’t do both. However, this year I decided not to join a group I really wanted to join so that I could work instead… but I couldn’t find a job, so now I’m not marching AND I’m poor. Which sucks, a lot.</p>

<p>So while it may vary depending where you are, how easy is it to get a job in college towns? Is it like “if you want one you can find one” or “HAH! Good luck”? The school I’m (hopefully) going to is Ohio State, by the way.</p>

<p>It would have been really easy to find a job at the beginning of the school year, or even a few weeks before. But I didn’t think I would need a job back then, and now that I do it’s really hard to find one.</p>
