Currently Virginia Tech and the University of Maryland are tied as my number one schools. The decision for me at this point would be based upon safety and the ease of getting into the classes needed to graduate.
So my questions for each school is how safe is it and is it a pain to get into necessary classes? (like, do they fill up too fast, is it easy to override, etc.)
Hey knp, I’m a rising sophomore at the University of Maryland. I’ve never had trouble getting into necessary classes, and neither have any of my classmates (that I know of). Overriding is easy, and you’ll usually get a same-day response from one of the people in scheduling if you ask to override some prereq.
