<p>I’m a sophomore undergrad in chem e. In the future, I want to do research and contribute to science. I don’t know what field of research I like, yet, but it’s certainly not reactor design. I obviously need to do more research in order to find out what I like. Right now, solar panels seem interesting. Anyways, I don’t know what type of chemical engineering I want to do in my future, and I’m wondering how easy it would be to jump around the different sects of chem e. Would it be unfavorable if I do a wide variety of research in chem e in my undergrad years and then apply for grad school?</p>
