I really need a 5 on the AP Physics C (mechanics only) exam. In your opinion, how hard is the exam? What percentage do you need to get a 5? I haven’t really started studying yet, but I plan on using the PR book to learn everything and take practice exams to be prepared for the 11th. I took the class in HS, but my teacher did NOTHING to prepare us for the exam.

What do I need to do now to prepare so I can get a 5? Is it even possible at this point? I heard the exam is hard!

I think you need somewhere around 50-60% to get a 5 so it isn’t that much trouble (if you study).

As for you, you may need multiple books (I personally like Barrons), and you definitely will need to study extensively (4+ hours a day, not including practice tests).

I would say doing practice tests will help, if you can get a 5 on the practice test you can probably get a 5 on the real thing. (Most of the time it seems I get a borderline 4-5 on the practice and a 5 on the real thing).
