I start my first semester as a freshman this fall and i’m not sure if this schedule would be too much(17 Credit Hours). I would appreciate it if someone could give me some insight on to how easy or hard you think this schedule would be.

Calculus 2 will be the most demanding course. It’s considered the “organic chemistry of calculus”

Are you good with programming?

I have basic knowledge of programming concepts. I thought the basics were relatively easy but I haven’t really done enough with it to know if i’m good or not.

its the online course necessary? Will you be able to handle plus all the other three courses? Online courses sometimes are often more time demanding but It depends who you have a professor

Public Speaking is a graduation requirement for me, I only did it online because the other available times didn’t match what I wanted. That being said, public speaking isn’t a prereq for any other class so I can take in whenever.

I would recommend taking public speaking the following semester. That way you’ll have more time on the other courses. That’s just my opinion.

Of course much depends on your professors, your work habits etc. but that schedule certainly appears manageable. And FWIW my D did not find Calc 2 to be much harder than Calc 1.

If you’re a good student this should be manageable.
