I got accepted to a decent school which I’ll be starting very soon but I hope to transfer to a much better one soon. Now before any of you say that you should try the school and see if you like it before you transfer, I’m most likely going to like the school a lot. But in order to acheive what I want after my undergrad I need to graduate from a school of much higher standing. The problem is that the schools I’m hoping to transfer to would’ve been way out of my reach when originally applying to colleges last year, only because of my grades as an underclassmen. I had a near perfect GPA my upperclassmen years and my test(ACT SAT) scores are near their 25-50% range. I’m 100% certain that I’ll have a perfect GPA in college and get involved in as many ec’s as possible. So how long should I wait before applying? , most schools have about a 12-15 credit requirement but I’ll have those after 1 semester. I really want to show those schools that I belong there. There were also some special circumstances that caused me to do bad as an underclassmen that I could explain to them.

btw a couple of the schools I want to go to are UVA, UNC, and Cornell
