How far away am I from significant scholarship money or honors programs?

Overall GPA: My school uses a weird scale, but it would be somewhere between a 3.7 and 4.0.

SAT Critical Reading: 640
SAT Math: 660
SAT Writing: 640
Total: 1940 (1300)

That was my first time taking the SAT. I’m assuming it will go up the second (and possibly third) time.

Between my Junior and Senior years, I will have taken 2 AP courses and 10 college level courses for college credit through various colleges.

I’m going to have 3 good letters of recommendation, all from different subjects and from teachers who have known me for three years.

As far as extracurricular activities go, I’ve done pretty much everything I can do. I’ve been involved in three sports, various clubs (some which I am the President of), and I’ve been involved in my school band, musicals, newspaper, and almost everything you can be involved in. It’s not an issue for me and is definitely a strong point.

I’m also part Latino & an out of state student, if that helps.

I believe you will be accepted, but do not think your stats will qualify for scholarship or honors programs.

Latino=helps. OOS=doesn’t help; I agree that you’ll be accepted, but agree with maxsdad.

If you can get your SAT numbers for CR and Math, that may be high enough to get you some $$, but it won’t be “significant” in terms of OOS tuition…it will put a dent in it, but it will not make it cheap… B/K “usually” requires a higher GPA, higher SAT, and/or some really unique and cool EC.

Thanks, gotta hit it lucky with this October SAT.
