How far can a world record get you?

So I have not a bad application but certainly not seller. 3.7 GPA, 34 act, esc. My extra curricular are through the roof though, specifically in athletics. I am 17 and do triathlons, ultra marathons, and free diving. I have completed an iron man, and hope to soon complete a double iron man when I’m 18 and can legally compete (which would make me the youngest person to ever complete it).

As for a record I currently hold, I’m the youngest person to ever run over 100 miles (112, 12 is my favorite number) and I have referrals and trackers to prove it (and my time wasn’t too bad either). Basically, how far will this get me haha.

While that is a unique characteristic, I’m not sure how “far” this will get you. It will certainly make your application stand out to the adcom but there is no 100% guarantee that it would get you accepted to a top tier/ivy league school or schools you may consider a reach/stretch.
