I’m applying to top unis as an international student. I got a 1600 on the DSAT (second time, first time was mid 1500s junior year) and I don’t know how much that does for me. Will it be very helpful at all? I think my extracurriculars and grades and things are competitive but idk I’m just not sure how things in the US work.

It’s a strong accomplishment. Congrats. But it’s just one data point in holistic review. It won’t compensate for weaknesses elsewhere

Your SAT result will help you create a suitable list of U.S. colleges to which to apply. If you choose these schools carefully, some that would be reaches for most other qualified — but less statistically rarefied — applicants may represent matches or high matches for you.
