How Flexible is the Admissions Process

Hello,

I applied to a college in Massachusetts and turned in everything but my second letter of recommendation. I had it written but my guidance counselor had issues sending it to the college in time. Would this restrict me from getting accepted? I have good grades, I’m taking dual enrollment/AP classes, I have a lot of experience with art and I got a good review on my college essay from an admissions counselor from another college. I don’t think it would have a big impact but it was still a requirement so it could go both ways.

It depends on the college. Normally, yes. But if you contact the college and let them know what happened, and that the letter is now being sent, you can ask if you can still be considered.

Did you send it in late or not at all? If it was never sent in it would likely be considered an incomplete application.
