How good are these SAT scores?

<p>Somebody told me she got </p>

<p>2130 for SAT 1
800 for SAT 2 MATH
800 for SAT 2 Chemestry. </p>

<p>I think she can get in most of the good schools. What about scholarship and other things?</p>

<p>Her SAT 1 score is strong, I believe 97-98 percentile nationally. Obviously her SAT 2 scores are good; they’re 800 for God’s sake.</p>

<p>I think her chances at admission depend on what you consider “good schools.” Is a “good school” UC: Irvine, as your username suggests you believe (and rightly so), or is Stanford a “good school?”</p>

<p>You read my mind!! Can my friend be abmitted by Stanford with a lot of scholarship? She wants to go there.</p>

<p>Her test scores are good, but not necessarily by Stanford standards. It’ll come down to more things like her grades, ECs, and the like.</p>
