How good is an 800 on a harder SAT II?

<p>A long time ago, I got 800 on my US History SAT II. At an interview, they said it was not one of the easier ones to get 800 on.This was before everyone was on the Internet, and I went to ordinary public school, so I didn’t really know what 800 meant. I had thought it meant I had the highest score of anyone, but that isn’t what it meant. According to the link, that along with Literature and Biology are harder to get 800 on. How good is getting 800 on one of these. Will it get you into an Ivy League school?</p>

<p>One score will not get you into an Ivy league. Decent scores are only a prerequisite for admission, and 800’s in many subject tests cannot make up for a lack of EC’s and other important parts of the app.</p>
