<p>NYU CAS Economics is very good. If you have a solid GPA paired with some solid standardized test scores, however, you should apply to NYU Stern (business school) instead. Stern is one of the top business schools in the world and its students are always targeted by top Investment banks etc.</p>
<p>to answer your question. NYU CAS is very good( a top 20 school). it is quite difficult to get in. Its acceptance rate is higher than that of NYU Stern though.</p>

<p>CAS econ is top notch, and they and Stern econ are closely related. but if you go to stern you have a heavy advantage when it comes time for the job recruitment process.</p>
<p>cas econ kids getting banking offers is not unheard of. they can compete for all the jobs that stern kids go for, since most finance jobs accept econ majors.</p>
