<p>So, this is super late, but I was debating with myself whether or not to apply to Stanford. I hadn’t thought about it before, because I was (am?) super prejudiced towards the East Coast, but I realized that 1) it’s closer to my parents and family and 2) it has a really great IR program.</p>
<p>The only question then, is cost. I was accepted to Yale SCEA and am wondering how Stanford compares. Income bracket is middle highish, between 150,000 - 200,000. Would I get a good package- IE, have to pay more than about 20k?</p>

<p>Hmm…for 150-200k, Stanford estimates fall around 20-25k expected contribution. Basically you are going to be getting 1/2 full cost grant aid or over if you are to the low-mid of the of the income spectrum you denoted.</p>
<p>P.s. I wouldn’t let considerations of financial aid discourage you from applying. Getting in should be the primary concern. Good luck to you and congratz on Yale.</p>
