<p>I plan on taking the ACT and SAT three times each my senior year (with some self-prep), and my GPA right now is like a 3.20, but I’m going to conservatively estimate a 3.24 cumulative by the time I graduate. </p>
<p>So I should have at least a 2000 SAT (or 30 ACT) minimum, right? (Given my previous scores, does a 2000/30 seem reasonable with prep and the natural progression that comes with just being a year older?)</p>
<p>And so, the whole point of this thread is to try to get an idea of where I can go with my GPA and scores…</p>
<p>I know, of course, that the IVY league, or any where similar to that, is out of the question. But just some examples of a few colleges that I should be able to get into is what I’m looking for.</p>

<p>Your GPA is kinda low, but your PSAT is good. Assuming you prep for the SAT, and have a ~2000 score, you have a shot at more prestigious/selective schools than the ones above. Some suggestions:</p>
<p>Boston U
NYU
Boston C (might be a reach)
U of Miami
Brandeis
Syracuse
U of Rochester
Union C</p>
<p>The poster above me mentioned US New’s rankings, which, even if you don’t care about them, give you a good sense of selectivity:</p>
<p>Pretty much anything ranked 30-60 is a reasonable match/reach for you. Because your GPA is low, your chances at any one of the schools I posted isn’t great, but your prospective SAT score will put you in the running.</p>
