How hard is it to apply to Physician assistant programs?

I heard that most physician assistant programs prefer applicants that have prior experiences as nurses and physical therapist aides…but I was planning to apply to one straight out of undergraduate school…also, a lot of physician assistant programs require two semesters of general biology…do you think the fact that I took my Biology AP credits during my undergraduate years will negatively affect my application to physician assistant programs? Thanks for all your help!

I think you can still apply straight out of college, that is what I am planning on doing. You should just make sure you have significant volunteer or shadowing experience.
