<p>I was admitted for Fall 2006 but got no financial aid or scholarships. I’m hoping to be able to get a scholarship because I don’t want to end up with huge debt. I’m debating going to community college and transfering because it is significantly cheaper. But if it is possible to get any scholarships from UCSB ASAP I would definitely go there. Does anyone know how to go about earning scholarships for a non-freshman student?</p>
<p>uc schools don’t give merit scholarships (with a few tiny exceptions, and since you didn’t get one they’re not worth mentioning). are you an out-of-state student?</p>
<p>If you didn’t receive any financial aid at all (assuming you applied) means that your family is fairly financially stable. I got the maximum offered for financial aid and it’s not like I am homeless or anything.</p>
