I am a transfer student for Fall 2006 and I was wondering how hard it is to get a 3.0? I really want to study abroad in my senior year and they require a 3.0. I was thinking about going to UCI instead since it might be easier to get good grades. I plan on studying my butt of every single day if I go to UCLA but I’m not very smart so all efforts might be futile lol. Anyone that goes to UCLA, can you tell me how hard the classes are? BTW I’m a Foreign language major so I also don’t plan on taking math and science classes.

I’d say its very possible for you to get a 3.0+ , granted you do not take a lot of math/sci classes. But being an engineering major, I wouldn’t know how north campus classes are curved/graded but it will be definitely easier to get a 3.0+ as a foreign language major albeit it depends on how much time you put into studying no matter how “easy” the class is.
