How hard is it to self-study for AP Eng Lang exam?

<p>I had 5 APs (AP Bio, AP Calc, AP US, AP Eng Lang, and AP Enviro) at the beginning of this school year but I dropped AP Eng to H Eng thinking my schedule will be too hard to manage. I regret dropping AP Eng b/c my classes are pretty easy to manage and I could definitely handle another ap. Would it be hard to self study for AP Eng w/o taking the class?</p>

<p>Lit or Comp? Either way its not that hard. Just read/write a lot.</p>

<p>It depends. If you can write well, and have taken some higher level English classes, I think you’d be fine. I took the Eng Lang AP with a few honors lit classes under my belt, skimmed a Princeton Review book a few times for some of the terms, and got a 5 with relatively little stress.</p>
