how hard is it to transfer from E-school to art-science school?

hey, my friend is accepted into Princeton’s Engineering school. however, she puts down E-school to gain admission and plans to transfer to the “school of art of science???” to study liberal arts subjects…how hard is it to transfer to a different school?

She doesn’t have to transfer. She just has to fill out the AB form instead of BSE.

its really easy to transfer even once you have a few semesters at princeton. I know several people who became BSE and more that decided that AB was their better path. BSE to AB is incredibly easy, you just now have to fulfill the distribution requirements (including foreign language). AB to BSE is a little trickier as there are certain classes that BSE students take their freshman year-- however all of the AB science majors tend to take those classes as well.

But since she hasnt even been to princeton for a semester yet, you just fill out the opposite form for the advisors, or im pretty sure you can deal with it during orientation. Princeton does not keep track of who applied AB or BSE
