How hard is it to transfer to engineering within UIUC?

So I just received my decision from UIUC and I was offered acceptance into an alternate program. I wanted to know how hard it is to transfer into the College of Engineering (specifically Computer Engineering). And if I do decide to go to UIUC and try to transfer which program that I can select from:
ACES: Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Technical Systems Management
FAA: Architectural Studies, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning
LAS: Astronomy, Atmospheric Studies, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Geography & Geographic Information Science, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics
DGS: Undeclared
Would best prepare me for the course work in Computer Engineering.

I of course know that I would have to maintain certain grades (I believe it is an overall B average as well as a B average in technical courses) to successfully transferred but I am most interested in which major has similar first year course work to CE so that if I do decide to go to UIUC I will enjoy my classwork and be prepared to transfer into CE without having to stay extra years to get a CE major.

I have gotten into the college of engineering at UMN and Computer Engineering at George Mason so I am now weighing my options of going into an engineering program that is not as good as UIUC (UMN) and going into a computer engineering program that is no where close to either (George Mason) with the possibility of getting into engineering at UIUC or never getting into engineering at UIUC.
