what kind of caliber kids usually get into the Jerome Fisher program? If you don’t have both math/science and business related extracurriculars, do they even consider you?

M&T is so hard, it cuts diamonds.

Business experience is not necessary but you better have lots of AP math/science courses and science competitions can only help you.

Hard enough to cut diamonds, huh?
What I understand is that it will probably be one of the hardest things you ever do, but you will come out on the other side like a pro, with an enormous amount of options in front of you, and if you keep your gpa relatively good, then you can also make a lot of money right out of school. If you want to go to grad school, med schools and law schools will love you; a lot of people go for PhDs or MSEs. I’m M&T '14, and I’m definitely looking forward to the challenge. I would say that if you enjoy math and science, and see their applications in business, and you have the extracurriculars, grades, scores, and passion to back you up, you should go for it.
