I have a solid A in apush, but got like 40 out of 95 right on the practice test from the barron’s book.
is it really that hard? is it possible to prepare for it in one month?
please someone tell me. please

It’s definately easier than the AP exam. You can prepare for it in one month. I used Kaplan…it was good.

Took APUSH, got a 4 on the exam (due to my crappy essays, not the MC) and took the SAT II a month later and scored 780 with minimal prep. Very easy.

So if I use AMSCO, should be easy? should I even try to study the format of the questions for the SATII US HIST?

So how would you guy compare the difficulty of the AP test to the SAT II test. So lets just rate both tests on difficulty on a scale from 1-10 (with 10 being to most difficult). Also not including the essays on the AP test.

AP Test is probably a 6 (in comparison w/ other AP Tests) and SAT II is probably a 2 or 3 in my opinion. If you did well in the class, you should do equally well on the exam. Good luck!

I didn’t find the AP hard, so I would rate it about a 6. Most people find it difficult though…they’d rate it about 8/9. The SAT II is like a 3 or a 4.
