How hard is statistics 2

Hey,

Next year I will become a Junior in HS. As a sophomore I’ve taken AP stats and found it quite fun/easy even though I got a B+ in the end. My HS located on UCONN’s (University of Connecticut) campus and we get dual enrollment so we get dual enrollment credit for advanced courses towards UCONN (basically, my stat credit gets transferred as college credit).

I want to take Statistics 2. I haven’t heard any other person in my HS that have taken this course before (the only college course most people take is multi-var/diff equations) and I was wondering how hard this class is compared to elementary concepts of stat.

Will there be significantly more work involved? Is it in general harder (lower grades)? Is it harder to learn in lecture rooms than in regular HS classrooms?

http://catalog.uconn.edu/stat/ lists UConn’s statistics courses.

Do you mean STAT 2215Q? Prerequisite is STAT 1000Q. Note that http://admissions.uconn.edu/content/transfer/ap-credits says that AP statistics score of 4 or 5 give subject credit for STAT 1100Q, a different course.

You may want to ask the UConn statistics department if AP statistics is sufficient as a prerequisite for STAT 2215Q.

Yeah. It accounted as credit for 1100Q and the guidance counselors allowed me to take stat 2. I was wondering how hard 2215Q was.
