How hard to get into the PG of PEA?

How hard to get into the PG of PEA? Is it harder to apply as a 9th grade freshman? A lot harder or just slightly? Thanks.

I got rejected and am wondering now if it is because I applied for PG, because I have confidence in my application. Or is it because I’m an international student that makes it harder?

I’m pretty sure they only accept like 2 PG every year. So, yes, you do have a better chance of getting in as a freshman. I would imagine it in a way that the AO’s think by the time your a senior, you should have stopped world hunger or something. Please correct me if I’m wrong, but this is just what I have heard.

Oh. I felt very disappointed at the rejection letter because when I went there, the teachers all say that I’ll be fine. AND I SUBMITTED my application very late = = I thought they have big PG program.

Ignorant question but, what’s the PG?

Post Graduate

I’m pretty sure they have a big PG program, but most are admitted students from previous years. Good luck! I know you’ll do fine… go take a gap year and enjoy the world!

Exeter had something approaching 50 PGs this year.

Actually exeter has between 20-30 pgs each year and im not sure about this year tomthecat.

From what I hear and know from friends who have been pgs they are generally athletic recruits.

Thank you all. I’m wondering what to do next year as I only applied to PEA = =

Yes, PGs are usually athletic recruits and athletes awaiting a scholarship at a college, who need to wait for the next academic year to get a scholarship spot.

They are almost always (90%) athletes.
