When colleges ask you how you have gained interest in their school, do they check to see if they actually visited your school or sent your pamphlets before? I might have made a mistake on my application

thats not a big deal… if u mistakenly told them u went to their info session at northwestern that might be an issue.

why would that be?

Files are kept on when you attended specific Northwestern events, such as when you visited campus or attended an off-campus info. session. Data is compiled via the forms that they have you fill out when you attend an event. The assumption that’s made when you over-report your events is that you just attended and didn’t fill out a form BUT the possibility of lying is always there. Just don’t do it.

does that apply for other schools too?

Yes, it does.

Oh crap. When they said info session I thought it meant the on-campus info. session. That’s no good.

I talked about how I went to the 2005 National Debate Tournament and watched them win. Lol.
