If I received a D for an AP Calculus class for senior year (yikessss…), did this absolutely kill my chances of acceptance? My other grades are decent, and they’re all AP classes, with the exception of one Honors class. I guess I’m just wondering how important midyear grades are to Lafayette.

Hard to say. It would be viewed in context of your other grades, how difficult your classes are (you said you take all AP classes, which is impressive), your test scores, etc.

If there’s a specific reason for the grade (illness that caused you to miss a lot of school, death in the family, etc) you might want to send a letter to admissions explaining.
