How high can one blast their stereos before RA comes knocking?

<p>It really depends on your RA. If you have one who’s very strict, the second the music reaches their ears, they could shut you down whereas won’t say anything until the ceiling comes down.</p>

<p>As a general rule (new this past year), subwoofers are not allowed. And whenever an RA hears a lot of bass, they’ll shut you off.</p>

<p>the only time my RA has done anything is if somebody complains about the noise. not very many of the housing policies are strictly enforced</p>

<p>Man I’m glad I don’t have to live in a dorm, I have a small 5.1 system and while I totally enjoy my music at low volumes just fine, I would hate the looks I’d get bringing it in.</p>
