How high should I aim in my appllications

Hi, I am having trouble deciding to what schools I should apply. I am not sure how high I should aim. My field is molecular biology and these are my scores:

167/160/5.0
3 years research experience
2 publications as second author 1 as first
3.4 GPA from the University of Idaho. State - mid size
Rec Letters from tenured professors whose I also did research with.

Any suggestions?

3 year research during undergrad or post undergrad?

You sound like a very competitive applicant and a worthy contender for the top tier, but it can be a bit of a crapshoot. Apply to a range of schools to give yourself options.

I could definitely see a top tier school snapping you up, but I’d suggest applying to a range of schools. I’m a Ph.D. student in biomedical sciences, so if you have any other questions about application process, feel free to message me.
