I know it’s not a 36, it’s really hard to get from the low 20s to a 36, but it made wonders for my friends, including me, who suck at the reading section. It brought my composite up from a 23 to a 30
- Find out your three favorite/highest scoring sections
- Do them in your person order of difficulty
- Go straight to the questions and underline key words, proper nouns, etc. (For example if the question says: Martha’s favorite sport was soccer for the reason that… underline favorite sport and martha on the question)
- Skim read/find the words
- Reread pasages with your words underlined paying close attention to them.
- MAKE SURE TO DO MAIN IDEA QUESTIONS LAST (You will get a feel for them after all of the questions)
- For me personally, I spent 11 mins per passage and wrote B/G for my worst page (NOTE: Maximum score using this method is a 25-29) which is perfect if your not scoring so high (This way you have two extra minutes to read the last one and do the fillings (B/G) when you run out of time
DISCLAIMER: This has worked for me and a lot of my friends but if you are scoring around 25+ (maybe lower/higher), I wouldn’t use this method.
