How I wish we could cut down on the SPAM

Now that mine is in at the ED school, I wish there was an official “Off the Market” list that would cut off the flow of college mail!

Good luck with that - my d is graduating college in May, and we’re still getting junk mail to renew her Highlights for Children subscription! (And I know it’s not for grandchildren since we’ve gotten the offer every year since she was seven.)

My son got a tee-shirt in the mail from a school yesterday. I’ll wear it to sleep in.:)

I am graduating in May and still getting mail and PHONE CALLS from a school I never even applied to.

I thought this thread was going to be about SPAM, the “meat” product. Disappointed that it wasn’t…

I thought it was the meat product too!

I had a very good visit to the Spam Museum in Austin, MN last year. Did you know that you can get Spam varieties that aren’t available on our grocery shelves–the Spam with Black Pepper was very tasty but only available in Australian grocery stores.

[Now I am trying to turn this into a SPAM thread…sorry! :)]

D1 is still getting mail from schools where she withdrew her application after ED acceptance. She got a nice letter from one school saying “thanks for letting us know”, followed the next week by one of their (very entertaining) marketing postcards. And the week after that. And after that.

We kept getting mail and even phone calls stating, “We need to know your decision!” even after our son had sent in his declines.

This thread would make my sons very hungry !!! LOL … What would my postal carrier put in my mail box if not for all the post cards, etc??
