How important are EC for UCSD?

<p>I was wondering how important are EC for UCSD and if u had no EC but a decent amount of community service hours are your chance lowered?</p>

<p>ECs pretty much only count if you have a leadership position. Try to get 250+ volunteer hours.</p>
