<p>I’m in the top 3% of my class, have a rigorous schedule, and go to a competitive school which does not do grade inflation and makes advanced classes really difficult. I’ve kind of been more focused on my grades because I thought those were the most important part of the application. I only recently realized my ECs are not good at all, especially compared to the people on here. I also know a lot of people with lower GPAs than me but really amazing ECs so how important are ECs for schools like BU, NYU, and Northeastern?</p>

<p>For BU its a third tier factor, for NYU and Northeastern its a second tier.</p>
